One-day cruises are very popular attractions in Crete. The most popular destinations are, of course, the Balos lagoon with the island of Gramvousa in the west of the island, or the island of Chrissi in the eastern part of Crete. Cruises are launched gradually as the season begins. Currently, ships taking tourists from Kissamos to the Balos lagoon and Gramvousa island have started operating. In May, cruises to the island of Chrissi, Dia and cruises around Souda Bay will be launched. If you are planning to treat yourself to such attractions during the upcoming holidays, it is worth paying attention to this year's much higher ticket prices.

In the case of cruises to Balos and Chrissi Island, the ticket is for an adult and children from 13 years of age. you will have to pay €38. A ticket for a child aged 3-12 costs €19. Children under 3 travel for free. In the case of cruises to Balos, an additional standard administrative fee of €1 is charged for each person over 13 years of age.

Prices for cruises to Dia Island and Souda Bay will be even higher. This year, a ticket for an adult will cost €44, and for a child between 3 and 13 years old, €30. The smallest children up to 3 years of age, as in the case of other cruises, will not pay for the ticket.

As a reminder, we would only add that in previous years prices were €23-25 for an adult and €11 for children aged 3-13.

This season, it is also worth remembering that Chrissi Island will be practically closed to tourists for another year in a row. Ships will only approach the coast without the possibility of landing, and tourists can only use designated beaches. Access to the interior of the island, and in particular to the absolute protection zone (dunes with unique vegetation and cedar forest), is still completely prohibited.
