The dam in Aposelemis is almost full

Recently, we wrote to you that this year's high rainfall causes that the dam in Aposelemis is increasingly filled with water. The weather that has shaped over the past few weeks has been abundant on rainy days. Experts say that at present the dam is close to reaching the level of the transfer. The maximum water level is expected if several hours of rain occur.

You can easily find out how much water there is by watching the above video shot by Manolis Chamilakis. Using a drone, he filmed the village of Sfentyli, which is increasingly absorbed by the water. The amount of collected water can be seen especially when looking at the Agiosa Theodoros shrine. At the end of January, this small building was quite a lot from the shoreline of the reservoir and well above the water surface. Currently, the characteristic red roof only slightly protrudes beyond the level of the tank.
