Another day of searching for a lost tourist in Crete

At the beginning of the week, we informed you about a tourist from Poland, who was missing on the most difficult part of the E4 route . Certainly many people are wondering about further events. Unfortunately, the subsequent days of searching for Mr. Andrzej Weber were completely fruitless. Despite the fact that the military helicopter was also included in the campaign, it has still not been possible to obtain the slightest progress in this matter. No traces were found on the bottom of the sea.

The hardest effects were not brought by the hard work of a dozen or so rescuers, including volunteers who combed the area of the hard-to-reach areas of Tripiti Gorge and the area around Sougia and Agia Roumeli. The only trace that has been found is the remains of a small fire and the remains of food about 7 km deep into the Tripiti Gorge. However, there is no proof of who made the campfire. The commander of the fire brigade said yesterday that, unfortunately, rescuers are slowly depleting all available opportunities and search paths. Nevertheless, today the action is to be continued.
